Career
When I finished high school, I traveled a lot and learned Spanish.
After initially training as a nurse in psychiatry for adults and children, I spent 5 years helping to rebuild the cancer ward at the children’s hospital in Zurich.
After working there for 5 years I switched to psychiatry.
For me it is important to have time for conversation on a one-to-one basis and in groups as well. This is something I feel lacked in my work as a nurse.
After three years I completed my training to become a therapist and became an independent psychotherapist.
I completed my studies in psychotherapy at the ETHZ in Zurich.
As a member of the Association of Swiss psychotherapists ASP I receive recognition from the health insurance.
From 2001-2008 I worked as a psychotherapist at a psychiatric practice based in Schwyz.
Since 1998 I have been working independently in my own private practice. Originally I was based in Canton Schwyz in Goldau but since 2008 I am based in the town of Zug.
